This episode is an interview with Mastiff. Their latest game is Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure. It’s a PSP Role Playing Game that has you playing as a little girl saving spirits that only children can see with her magic drill. It is originally from Nihon Falcom, the creators of the Y’s RPG series. The game is Rated E 10+ for Mild Fantasy Violence, Mild Suggestive Scenes, and Tobacco Use.

My interview was with

  • Bill Swartz: CEO/Head Woof
  • Kenan Alpay: Production Pup

Here are some gameplay videos for Gurumin.

For more info on Game Localization and another interview with Bill Swartz, check Tom Kim’s Gamasutra Podcast series. (Episode 1, Episode 2 of Game Localization Panel)
